| Posted 14 years, 10 months agoBullay Shah was a Syed(from the family of the prophet s.a.w.) but his teacher Inayat Shah Qadiri was not (was from the Arain caste). Members of his family disapproved of him associating and learning Islam from this scholarly man.
Bullay Shah thus admonished them for their unjust prejudice.
Thats my understanding, anyways.

Now I can sing this song with more life & confidence. I am a sindhibut have a natural liking for sufi songs. God is one. He & his messengers took birth on earth in different times at different places. I hope he today when the whole world is divided on Whose God is God?, the God should take another avtaar or send someone to tell that he is only One no matter by what name u call him or how u worship him. Sai Baba took avtaar to spread the message: “Sabka Malik ek” was to unite Hindus & Muslims., but his influence was confined primarily to Shirdi. But the message is spreading throughtout the country yet there are very few who understand his message & keep that in their mind at all times.
| Posted 14 years, 9 months agoGod is as much in an idol as he is everywhere. Ali dum dum de andar. He is everywhere. Even Guru Nanak ji had one hindu & one Muslim disciple. He turned the Masjid to prove Allah is everywhere. He could make out what qazi was thinking while offering Namaaz. Later sikh gurus were also like him, in the sense that they didn’t differntiate between muslims & hindus. But the cruel extemist kings like aurangzeb & behadur shah zafar-I, who blindly went on converting numerous hindus into sikhs, forced God to send someone to protect muzloomz (Hindus) from the tortures of mughal emperors & conversion. It was Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji who gave the sikh army a name Khalsa & made certain usools. They had to keep kirpans only to protect muzlooms & not to convert muslims to sikh or hindus. Please understand none of the 10 Sikh gurus was against Islam. They all respected both Islam & Gita. But they were against forceful religious conversions & tortures that hindus & sikhs were given. I believe many of muslims around me & even in Pak may be having hindu ancestors then why r don’t they understand that before being a hindu or muslim, ham sab insaan hain. an orphan child doesn’t know what his caste or religion is. If he is grown up by a terrorist, his mindset may also be the same as that of this adopter, but if grown up by a saint he may grow up into a saint/philosopher or a person who is very good at heart.
